A pooch and his owner will be thanking their lucky stars that Bobby is still alive after the dog fell 100ft off a cliff.
The lucky dog chased a seagull off the cliff at Old Harry, near Swanage in Dorset and managed to land on soft seaweed and escaped from the accident with only a broken toe and chipped tooth.
A lifeboat was then sent to rescue the stricken pooch and Kevin Rowell told the Daily Mail he and his wife didn't know where Bobby had gone until they heard him yelping on the rocks below the top of the cliff.
"The tide was out at the time and there was a lot of seaweed on the beach. He must have landed on that and it cushioned his fall. It is incredible that he survived," he was reported as saying.
In October a dog, also in Dorset, escaped injury after falling off a 120ft cliff while chasing a deer.
