A new puppy will be playful and inquisitive, they will want to explore their new surroundings so be careful when introducing them to other pets. Take care when introducing them to other dogs as if you have a dog already, they are likely to be larger than your puppy. Gradually introduce the animals to one another and use a lead if necessary, always leaving an escape route for the pets. One major thing to consider is that your existing pets will potentially be jealous of the new pet, so make sure that you shower them with attention so that they do not feel as thought they have been pushed out.
