Having a standard pet first aid kit around the home will assist you if required. This is very similar to that of a human first aid kit and should include:

• Sticky Tape
• Sterile Swabs
• A pet collar
• Scissors
• Various patches and swabs to clean wounds on a temporary level, until you can visit a vets practice.
