What should I do in an accident?

When do I phone the vets?

As with children, you will know when your pet is under the weather and you will be able to judge if this is serious or a minor illness.
If the animal will not move, cannot breath or is vomiting repeatedly a call to your vets will be worthwhile - it is better to be safe than sorry. Always keep your vets number to hand. There may also be a special number to call in an emergency or an advice line if the problem is not necessarily serious - all vets practices will vary.
